We are currently seeking passionate and qualified Childcare Workers and Group Leaders (ANZSCO 421111) to join our team at our Highton-based early learning centre.
These are full-time positions (38 hours per week) offering opportunities to work across various age groups in a dynamic and supportive environment. Successful applicants will contribute to the delivery of high-quality care and education, either by leading a room (Group Leader role) or supporting the daily program (Childcare Worker role), depending on experience and qualifications.
As part of the team, you will support children's wellbeing, implement engaging learning experiences, and contribute to a positive, inclusive centre culture. Group Leaders will be responsible for leading and mentoring other educators and managing the day-to-day operation of their room. Weekend and off-site work may occasionally be required based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Providing care and supervision for children in long day care and occasional care programs.
Supporting or leading the implementation of daily routines, ensuring children's health, hygiene, and wellbeing.
Monitoring and guiding children’s behaviour while promoting social and emotional development.
Setting up and maintaining engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate learning environments.
Planning and/or participating in educational and recreational activities, including storytelling, games, and creative play.
Supervising children during both indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times.
Collaborating with other educators, families, and centre leadership to support children’s learning outcomes.
Maintaining accurate records and contributing to learning documentation, observations, and program evaluation (particularly for Group Leader roles).

Skills and experience
Applicant must have Certificate III or higher qualification
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow the procedures accurately.
