We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Child Care Worker (Senior) who is ready to make a real impact in young lives and support the leadership and management of our vibrant early learning centre.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide day-to-day care, supervision and education of children; implement planned and responsive experiences across the EYLF outcomes.
- Assist with routines (meals, rest, hygiene), maintain a safe environment, and monitor children’s health and wellbeing.
- Maintain children’s records, observations and learning documentation; communicate progress to families.
- Follow daily safety checks, incident reporting, and service policies under the NQF.
- Support inclusion, behaviour guidance, and positive relationships consistent with NQS and EYLF.
- Coordinate daily room program, routines and transitions; allocate tasks to assistants/educators in the room.
- Mentor and coach room staff on practice and pedagogy; contribute to staff induction within the room.
- Liaise with families regarding room-level matters, children’s learning goals and individual plans; escalate centre-wide issues to management.

Qualifications and skills:

- Relevant qualification
- At least 1 year work experience
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood settings delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.
- Knowledge of educator-to-child ratios and room supervision requirements under NQF.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and colleagues.

Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000 - $95,000 p.a. plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
