Kentish Early Learning Centre Tennant Creek, is a beautiful centre in the Barkly region that is licensed for 50 children per day.
Kentish Community Services Limited is a Northern Territory Early Childhood-focused organisation. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about working with children, are reliable, flexible, and possess a positive attitude towards nurturing young minds.

The role of the incumbent is too:
• Develop and maintain respectful relationships with children, families and team members.
• Respect and provide support and inclusion for all children, regardless of gender, cultural background, or socio-economic status.
• Work as a team, sharing room responsibilities.
• Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
• Provide care and supervision of the daily routine of children
• Plan, implement, assess and review a high-quality and diverse educational program based on appropriate curriculum frameworks and with reference to the NQS & EYLF, considering the developmental needs, interests and abilities of all the children attending the service.

What you will need to succeed:
• Previous experience in the Early Childhood Sector
• Excellent understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
• Flexible hours e.g., able to work rotating shifts both opening to closing hours
• Excellent written and communication skills

As these roles are mandated by the Northern Territory regulatory requirements and ACECQA you will be required to have (or be in the process of attaining):
•Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or
• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
•Current Senior Early Childhood First Aid and CPR certificate
•National Police Clearance Certificate
•Current Working with Children's Card

Pay & Conditions:
• Hours of work: Flexible hours between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Pay: Based on the Children’s Services Award (MA000120) with potential for additional benefits, including above-award pay rates.
