Job description:

· Responsible for leading the organisation’s overall digital and IT strategy to ensure alignment with long-term business objectives

· Develops and maintains strategic plans, overseeing enterprise architecture, and embedding governance and risk frameworks across all IT delivery and functions.

· Directs the formulation and implementation of technology roadmaps, ensuring consistent architectural principles are followed across business, data, application, and infrastructure domains.

· Defines systems, policies, and standards to meet internal and external obligations. This includes legal and regulatory compliance, data protection, service assurance, delivery quality and contract adherence.

· Manages risk at the organisational level, establishing frameworks, delegating authority, and providing oversight to ensure mitigation strategies are integrated into operations.

· Oversees the full lifecycle of software development and services for customers, including infrastructure, platforms, enterprise applications, user experience, tech stack, cloud strategy, end-user systems and continuous service improvement.

· Directs organisation-wide quality management processes and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

· Provides strategic leadership across business consulting functions, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to align digital transformation & IT efforts with organization goals. This includes oversight of consulting engagements, delivery standards, and long-term partnerships.

· Drives strategic planning for projects and programs, setting delivery governance frameworks, allocating resources, and managing risks for high-impact initiatives. She ensures that delivery strategies are aligned with business goals and continuously reviewed for efficiency and effectiveness.

· She leads the development of organisational capabilities by selecting and implementing frameworks for continuous improvement, measuring digital maturity, and initiating performance-enhancing programs across functions.

· Oversees stakeholder engagement and communications, representing the organisation in external forums and ensuring productive relationships with vendors, clients, and governing bodies. She provides executive oversight on service delivery, strategic alignment, and partner collaboration.

· Leads product strategy and delivery alignment for key digital services and platforms within the organisation, managing product roadmaps, prioritisation, user adoption, and lifecycle governance to ensure measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications/Attributes:

· Must hold a Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

· Must have at least 3 years of relevant work experience.

· At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

· Extensive experience in executive-level IT leadership, digital strategy, and organisational transformation.

· Strong capability in enterprise architecture, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

· Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale technology programs, product delivery, and multi-disciplinary technical teams.

· Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board levels.

· Proven ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and high-performance digital environments.

Salary Range:

$200,000 – $250,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
