In 2021, NOMAD Melbourne on Flinders Lane opened its doors.With NOMAD Sydney as its foundation, the group ventured into the Melbourne dining scene, bringing with it the same passion for exceptional food experiences and sustainability ethos. This connection to NOMAD Sydney provides a sense of continuity and heritage, while also allowing NOMAD Melbourne to carve out its own identity within the local dining scene.

Inspiration pulled from travels through Spain, Morocco, and the Middle East paired with a strong belief that Australia, and even more so Greater Victoria, has some of the world's best produce, is what has shaped the venue's identity.

We Are

Established in 2013 edition is a dynamic and growing hospitality group. Dedicated to delivering forward-thinking hospitality experiences to the Australian dining scene. We prioritise attention to detail, and the exceptional treatment of both our Guests and Team Members.

The Opportunity

At NOMAD Melbourne we are currently looking for talented Chefs to join our team. Expectations are high as we strive to deliver nothing short of excellence to our guests and we want to work with professionals who are dedicated and motivated to succeed.

Our ideal candidates will have

A Diploma Qualification and at minimum 2-3 years of industry experience
Knowledge of Middle Eastern cuisine and techniques advantageous but not required
Works well under pressure and understands the requirements of a fast paced restaurant
Commitment, passion and appreciation for the hospitality industry
Ability to work autonomously while treating guests and peers with respect, humility and kindness
