Location: New South Wales
Salary for Chefs/Cooks: $65,000 - $85,000 a year
Salary for Restaurant Managers: $70,000 to $85,000 a year
Our client, The Flower Hotel Group, is an award-winning group which was established in 2015 and is based on the Mid North Coast, NSW. It has since extended its portfolio to seven pubs, a café bar and 4-star accommodation hotel, all within the Mid North Coast region.
Their following venues are currently looking for hardworking and dedicated chefs/cooks and restaurant managers to join their team:
Lake Cathie Tavern – Lake Cathie
Tacking Point Tavern - Port Macquarie
Little Shack - Port Macquarie
Travellers Rest Long Flat Pub – Long Flat
Mercure Centro Hotel - Port Macquarie
Chefs/Cooks - Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Ability to contribute to menu planning
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering
To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
Restaurant Managers - Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
Leader of Bistro for assigned shift
Communicate with Cellar to ensure bar is stocked
Organise staff food for staff on breaks
Check out of stock items, check tills for specials
Basic gaming machine troubleshooting
Ability to confidently relay function enquiries to management or accurately record initial enquiries and provide basic information for customer
Adhere to compliance with WH&S compliance and Food Safety regulations
To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least 5 years in a leader role in hospitality
Relevant qualifications in business management
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
