Salary : $72,000 - $82,000 a year

The family owned and operated Dusty Hill Vineyard in Barambah Valley, South Burnett region of Queensland, overlooking picturesque Lake Barambah. As one of the region's first established wineries, Dusty Hill Vineyard is highly regarded as an outstanding venue for food and wine as well as boutique accommodation.

Dusty Hill Vineyard is currently looking for an experienced, hardworking and dedicated Chefs to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Accurately measure and prepare meal ingredients in accordance with recipes or directions.
Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards.
Assist senior chefs with tasks such as menu planning, ordering, stock rotation and training junior staff.
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and OHS requirements
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Other chef duties as requested or required.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
Available to work varied shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and shift work.
