GT LYNCH & CO PTY LTD located in glorious Yeppoon is looking for full time chefs and cooks for their venues:
- Vue Wine bar & Restaurant
- Ofishal & Ofishal Beachclub (which an entity associated with GT LYNCH & CO PTY)

OFISHAL Beachclub in Yeppoon features a menu that highlights fresh, locally sourced seafood such as oysters, prawns, Moreton Bay bugs, and reef fish, with indulgent seafood platters as a signature offering. Alongside the ocean-focused dishes, the menu also includes options for non-seafood eaters, such as quality red meats and vegetarian plates, ensuring broad appeal. Guests can pair their meals with a curated wine list, creative cocktails, or finish with desserts and specialty extras like cheese flights, making the dining experience both versatile and refined.

Vue Wine Bar and Grill, the sister venue to OFISHAL Beachclub in Yeppoon, is known for its contemporary grill menu and extensive wine list. The restaurant focuses on premium cuts of steak, fresh local produce, and woodfired flavours, complemented by a refined selection of seafood and seasonal sides. Its bar program showcases an impressive range of wines by the glass and bottle, along with crafted cocktails and premium spirits, making it a popular destination for both casual diners and special occasions. The atmosphere balances relaxed coastal charm with modern sophistication, creating a memorable dining experience.

To be considered for the role you need to have a relevant industry qualification and at least 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills
- Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes
- Demonstrate a keen Interest in growing food trends and techniques
- Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control
- Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning
- Stock ordering
- Labour cost control and assist the owners with rostering
- A sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS
- Immaculate presentation and grooming
- Ability to handle large service numbers
- Above average customer care and service skills
- Must be able to train our junior team on cooking techniques and procedures
- Assist with staff hiring and training
- Experience on grill and pans section highly desirable
- Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
- Discuss customer requirements and request with the frost on house team.
