About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our growing group of early childhood education centres across regional New South Wales and Victoria.
This is a genuine, ongoing full-time role responsible for preparing nutritious, high-quality meals for children in accordance with childcare nutrition guidelines, food safety standards, and centre policies.
The successful candidate may be placed at any of our regional centres listed above, depending on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare daily meals and snacks for children aged 0–5 years
Plan menus aligned with Australian Dietary Guidelines and early childhood nutrition standards
Cater for allergies, intolerances, and special dietary requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment
Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and local council regulations
Manage food ordering, storage, stock rotation, and waste control
Work collaboratively with educators and centre management teams

Skills and Experience Required
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher (or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time work experience as a Chef
Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management
Ability to work independently and manage kitchen operations
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Experience in childcare, education, healthcare, or similar settings highly regarded

Willingness to work at one of our regional centres (Dubbo, Albury, or regional Victoria)
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
