On behalf of our client, Isola, we are advertising. They are currently looking for a Chef de Partie to join their team on a full-time basis in Rottnest Island, WA.

Isola Rottnest is a classic beachside bar and kitchen, serving fresh pasta, meats cooked over the char-grill, amazing seafood and salumi alongside classic cocktails, spritz and delicious wines. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service whilst professionally leading and developing bar and service staff. Having a strong understanding of our Italian style bar and restaurant concept is critical.

Tasks & Duties:
- Ensure that the kitchen always produces a high-quality food product.
- Anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires immediately.
- Prepare sauces, soups and hot dishes for service and special functions.
- Demonstrate superior recipe knowledge for every item on the restaurant menu.
- Monitor food quality and quantity as it relates to portion control.
- Monitor all food storage facilities to ensure that proper storage techniques are being used and that the cleanliness standards of the kitchen are being maintained.
- Prepare and properly garnish all pantry items including salads, sandwiches, desserts, as well as the established menu and specialty items.
- Requisition the appropriate amount of food product in accordance with the established company policies and procedures.
- Complete all work responsibilities and assignments in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all standard recipes are followed.
- Maintain your self-appearance in accordance with the required grooming standards.
- Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.
- Maintain an acceptable degree of knowledge regarding food product.
- Comply with all the established company operational policies & procedures.
- Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
- Have a full knowledge of and practice all the required established occupational health and safety guidelines.
- When required, is responsible for developing and writing the menus with assistant from the Executive Chef.

Skills & Experience Required:
- Relevant chef qualification
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Keep updated on product knowledge of hotel and related activities
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
- High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary between $76,515 & $85,000 per annum + superannuation.
