As our business has grown substantially, we are seeking to increase our kitchen crew to ensure we can achieve our business goals. You will be working with our experienced, talented and friendly team in a dynamic, fast paced, and professional environment, there is also opportunity for career development.
Reporting to the Sous Chefs your responsibilities will include:
Experienced in Preparing and cooking menu items.
Must be able to Train and supervise the newly appointed staff or less experienced staff.
Must be well complaint with hygiene regulations.
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
Delegation of tasks to other team members.
Supervise Kitchen hands, Cooks and assisting as needed.
Monitor food stock and place orders.
Assisting in menu development
Requirements:
Experience and qualifications in commercial cookery (Cert 3 or higher)
Minimum 2 years’ experience in the commercial kitchen
Flexible availability
Good communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised and in a team.
Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirement
