This neighbourhood osteria will be a bar. A restaurant. And will bring a casual and affordable dining experience with simple dishes executed well. Our menu will consist of snacks, daily specials, all made with traditional Italian recipes and will be greatly complimented with a great cocktail list and Italian varietal heavy cellar.
We value personality, Italianity, and passion in our team members, so if you have prior experience with Italian cuisine and are ready to show your talents in the kitchen, we want to hear from you.
Essential Requirements:
• Full Australian working rights
• Fluent in English
• 1-3 years experience and/or Diploma Hospitality certificate
• Ability to keep cool under pressure
• Positive attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent grooming standards
• Passion for providing an exceptional dining experience
• Hours can vary and include weekend and holiday work
Preferred Requirements:
• Formal hospitality studies completed
• Food safety supervisor certificate
• Expertise with fresh pasta making
• Proficiency in Italian cuisine
• Venue opening experience
Responsibilities will include:
• Collaborating with our team in menu planning, recipe development, cook-offs, writing tasting notes
• Ensuring consistent delivery and presentation of dishes in line with venue standards
• Ongoing staff training
• Maintaining food health & safety requirements
• Managing cost control
