Salary : $70,000 - $85,000 per year

Murray’s Craft Brewing Co shares its home with Port Stephens Winery, the region’s oldest vineyard. The restaurant opens 7 days a week, and it is sourced from ingredients locally and grow most of the veggies and herbs onsite across their 35 hectare property. Murray’s is the ideal family friendly venue, From elegant to casual experiences on offer, there is something to suit everyone at Murray's.

Murray's Brewing Company is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated chef to join their team.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Ability to contribute to menu planning
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills with an approachable manner
