Saviour Foods Pty Ltd trading as Warnbro Tavern is a well-established local hospitality venue in Warnbro, WA, offering classic pub favourites, seasonal dishes, and a relaxed dining atmosphere for families and the local community. Known for generous portions, quality ingredients, and friendly service, the venue operates across lunch and dinner with a steady flow of dine-in, bar, and function customers. To support our high-volume kitchen operations, we are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team.

Location: Warnbro, WA 6169
Position: Chef – Full-Time
Salary: $76,000 – $80,000 + Superannuation

About the Role
The Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of menu items including pub-style mains, grills, shares, salads, and seasonal specials. You will work across prep, service, and kitchen coordination to maintain consistent quality and ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes across all sections of the kitchen, including grills, fryers, and mainline service.
2. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all menu items.
3. Support menu development, including specials and seasonal offerings.
4. Check ingredient freshness, maintain correct storage, and follow stock rotation procedures.
5. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
6. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in accordance with food safety and WHS requirements.
7. Assist with stock management, including monitoring levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
8. Train, guide, and support junior kitchen staff as needed.
9. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient service during peak periods.

Skills & Experience
1. Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
2. Minimum 1–2 years’ experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen (required for Subclass 482).
3. Experience in pub, bistro, or high-volume casual dining environments is highly regarded.
4. Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
6. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality.
