Our client Curtain Square Pty Ltd trading as Florian Food / Florian Catering / Juniper Eatery in Melbourne, Victoria is looking for full-time Chefs to join our busy team.

Position overview:

We are looking for a Chef to assist in the planning and organisation of the preparation and cooking of food in our establishment.

Qualifications / Experience required:

You will have a relevant Diploma and at least one year of recent relevant work experience OR no less than 3 years full time paid experience.

Responsibilities include the following:

• planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
• monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
• demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• preparing and cooking food
• explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
• may select and train staff
• may freeze and preserve foods

The remuneration on offer for the role is between $76,515 to $78K depending on experience.
