About the Position:
The Chef position at Pure Desi is a full-time role focused on preparing authentic Indian sweets, snacks, and hot dishes to maintain the business’s reputation for quality and tradition. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to the creation of vegetarian delicacies and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook authentic Indian sweets, snacks, and hot food items according to traditional recipes.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes.
Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized kitchen in compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in menu planning and development of new vegetarian dishes.
Manage inventory and ensure efficient use of ingredients to minimize waste.
Collaborate with the team to meet customer demands during peak hours and events.
Requirements:

Qualifications: Diploma in Culinary Arts, Commercial Cookery, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a kitchen, preferably in Indian cuisine.
Expertise in preparing Indian vegetarian dishes, including sweets and savoury items.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
