At Shamalis Cafe & Bistro, we serve up delightful culinary experiences from breakfast to dinner. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a delectable dinner, we've got you covered.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare high-quality food according to menu guidelines and recipes
• Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
• Ensuring presentation, portion control, and quality of food is of the highest standard
• Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
• Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Cleaning and organizing kitchen and equipment in adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
• Preserving and storing foodstuffs in appropriate temperature-controlled facilities
• Ensuring proper storage, stock rotation, and control of foodstuffs is maintained
• Training and supervising apprentices, trainees, and other kitchen staff whenever required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Great team skills and customer management skills

Skills and Qualifications required:
• Should have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role
• A Trade Certificate in Cookery or equivalent experience is desirable
• Exceptional proven ability in kitchen management
• Ability to divide responsibilities and monitor progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Up to date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
