Food Idea Pty Ltd, trading as Mango’s Nuts is is an family authentic Australian cafe & Restaurant located in Ferny Creek that specialises in Srilankan Fusion cuisines, premium burgers, high quality steaks, Italian dishes, great customer Service, value for money and large meals. We currently have a full-time opportunity available for an experienced Chef to join our team.

As a Chef, you will be running our kitchen. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of our kitchen operation, from menu development and preparation to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will lead kitchen team, ensuring smooth service throughout the day and night.

Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare delicious Srilankan Fusion cuisines, Italian Dishes and other food items using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for quality and presentation.
- Manage and maintain kitchen inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
- Oversee food preparation, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Lead and train the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

Experience: At least 1 year of experience working as a Chef in a similar environment
Qualification: Cert 3, Cert 4 in Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality
Salary: $76,000 - $78,000
