About the role

On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a dedicated, self-driven and highly organized Chef to be part of their growing team. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences through the preparation and presentation of high-quality, dishes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of delicious and high-quality meals
• Follow recipe specifications and ensure consistent food quality and presentation
• Assist in ordering and ensure all stocks are kept under optimum conditions
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials
• Assist in training junior staff

Essential Skills

• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Passion for creating delicious, innovative dishes

Qualifications needed:

• Minimum Certificate IV level or equivalent relevant work experience
• Minimum one year of work experience on relevant position

Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $75,000-$95,000 plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
