Our Client 7EVEN HILLS PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team located in Clyde North. With a passion for food and excellence, they value skilled professionals who can bring creativity and dedication to their kitchen team.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and cook menu items in accordance with restaurant standards and customer requirements.

Develop menus and specials, considering seasonal availability, customer preferences, and food cost control.

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation before service.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety regulations.

Order, receive, and manage stock of ingredients and kitchen supplies, maintaining cost-effectiveness and minimal wastage.

Train, mentor, and oversee cooks and kitchen hands.

Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations.

Liaise with management regarding menu planning, pricing, and special events.

Adapt recipes and techniques to accommodate dietary requirements (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free)

Qualifications

Cert IV or Diploma in the relevant field
At least 1-2 years of experience
