Salary : $70,000 - $90,000 a year


Kingfishers is a family owned and operated venue, it offers a classic dining experience in a tranquil garden setting that has been well known and loved by Toowoomba locals for more than 20 years. It is perfect venue for weddings, birthdays and other events.

Kingfisher Cafe Restaurant is currently seeking experienced Chefs - All positions (Chef de Partis, Sous Chef and Commi/Demi Chef) to join their teams.

Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities:
Skills in preparing different variety of cuisine
Creativity and high presentation standards
Ability to create dishes with consistency
Skilled in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes
Ability to contribute to menu planning
Understanding of food safety and OHS requirements
Train and manage cooks and kitchen staff
Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety guidelines
Should be able to manage daily kitchen operations including ordering

To be considered for the position you must possess the following:
At least one year experience in a similar role
Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery
Ability to excel in a high-volume, high-pressure environment
Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess effective communication skills in an approachable manner
