Located on the tip of the pristine Dampier Peninsula 220km north of Broome, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm was established in 1946 and has been open to the public since 2009 in hospitality and tourism. We are offering the opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful parts of Australia as part of a professional and caring team. You will need to be prepared to live in a remote environment and as part of a small community.
We require a qualified, professional Chef to join our Food and Beverage team. Accommodation and food are inclusive.
Reporting directly to the Tourism Manager, main duties will include:

CHEF - $75,000 - $85,000 PA - Full time

• Preparation and cooking of à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner menu.
• Function catering
• Preparation and cooking of staff meals
• Quality control
• Providing training and mentoring the team
• Ordering, planning and costing Preparation and cooking of à la carte breakfast and lunch menu.
• Preparation, cooking and presentation of Buffet dinner menu.
• Preparation and cooking of staff meals
• Function catering
• Menu planning and costing
• Maintaining high OHS standards
• Rostering for team
• Creating Revenue generating ideas
• Manage supplier relationships

The successful candidates for the role will possess:
• Trade qualifications
• At least two years of relevant experience
• ability to work in a team as well autonomously
• Experience in ordering, menu planning and costing
• maintaining high OHS standards
• The ability to work on a rotating roster.
• attention to detail and ability to achieve high standards
• high levels of organisations skills
