Fulltime Chef / Cook
Salary 76k -80k dependant on experience
Fulltime Wednesday to Sunday days 8am -4pm / occasional nights (6-10 per year)
Contemporary Asian & South East Asian meets local produce & indigenous ingredients
Licensed up market cafe/restaurant with excellent reputation, table service

Role Reponsiblities
>Prepare, cook, and plate a variety of food items.
>Communicate and uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
>Collaborate with Managers, Owners, and kitchen or service staff to address food preparation and service-related matters.
>Supervise the quality and consistency of dishes throughout all phases of preparation and presentation.
>Handle food preservation processes, including freezing and storage.
>Demonstrate culinary methods and provide guidance on cooking techniques.
>Participate in the recruitment, selection, and training of kitchen personnel.
>Plan menus, forecast food and labor expenses, and coordinate the procurement of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
