About the Role: Squadron Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CBOP Package Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for developing and preparing all civil infrastructure supporting the main plant facilities for Financial Investment Decision (FID) and ongoing management of the CBOP Package through execution and commissioning phases. This role encompasses full commercial, technical, and strategic accountability for civil works development including site preparation, foundations, roads and hardstands, drainage, buildings, and associated infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Take full accountability for developing the Civil Balance of Plant package to FID-ready status including scope definition, cost estimation, execution strategy, procurement, and risk assessment Coordinate with Asset Development Director and Project Director on overall project strategy and FID preparation activities Develop comprehensive procurement, contracting, and execution strategies that provide cost certainty and execution confidence Lead procurement processes including tendering, contractor selection, collaborative design development, and commercial framework establishment Support negotiations of ECI agreements and execution contracts for the CBOP Package Interface with regulatory authorities, local councils, statutory bodies, landowners, and First Nations groups Work closely with Commercial and Project Controls teams to develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reporting Manage and lead the work of a team; provide motivation, encouragement, and opportunities for development Skills and Experience: Extensive experience with ECI procurement models, contract development, and collaborative delivery approaches Proven track record in project development from concept through to FID or equivalent investment milestone Strong commercial acumen with understanding of project financing, investment decisions, and risk allocation Experience with contractor evaluation, commercial negotiation, and strategic procurement processes Knowledge of regulatory approval processes, stakeholder engagement, and project development requirements Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure project development, preferably energy, mining, or industrial facilities Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary development and delivery teams Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and investors Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field Driver’s licence White card To Apply Squadron Energy is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
