About the role You will be responsible for cataloguing, classifying and processing Library materials for the creation and modification of database records. You will also contribute to the development and maintenance of the University Library’s electronic resources and other collections and actively participate in associated projects. You will: contribute to the maintenance, processing and integrity of the Library’s bibliographic database; perform quality control activities in the Library Management System (LMS); contribute to the Libraries Australia Record Import Service activities; and actively participate, contribute and support training of local cataloguing processes, projects and initiatives. About you Reporting to the Cataloguing and Metadata Librarian, you will have demonstrated knowledge of cataloguing schemas, rules, practices and procedures, including the ability to identify problems, evaluate and find solutions. You will possess: knowledge of cataloguing schemas, rules, practices and procedures; experience in the use of online cataloguing tools and integrated library management systems, with a demonstrated understanding of metadata standards and application; and understanding of the role of information resources and services in a higher education environment; How to apply Please apply by Sunday, 17 August 2025.
