Seven Roofing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter for a full-time, ongoing role. The position requires 38 hours per week and is based in Melbourne, VIC.

The Carpenter will be responsible for the following duties:

Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and other materials
Constructing, repairing, and installing frameworks, roofs, and other wooden structures
Reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and work orders
Inspecting finished structures and performing adjustments or repairs as needed
Operating power tools and machinery safely and maintaining equipment
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and work experience:

Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification
Must have own vehicle and power tools
Minimum of 1 year’s relevant work experience in carpentry or building construction
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and attention to detail
