Hangan Steel are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Carpenter to join their team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Apply carpentry trade skills, general framing, construction and installation of subfloors, walls door frames, roofing and trust work.
- Coordinate site preparation
- Interpret building standards, codes and regulations
- Coordinate planning for building tasks
- Provide advise to, and liaise with project personnel on matters relating to carpentry and construction requirements
- Interpret plans, specifications and drawings.
- Assist in the compilation of specifications, scope of works and costs estimates.

Skills and Attributes:

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience general carpentry work in commercial and domestic builds
- Physically fit and ability to work in a team environment.

Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
