• Interpret and work from technical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Measure, mark and cut timber and other materials to required dimensions.
• Construct and install structural framing components for new and existing builds.
• Assemble and install main framing systems for awnings and related structures.
• Fabricate and install doors, door frames, screens and shade awnings.
• Install door hardware including locks, hinges, flush bolts and associated fittings.
• Select and prepare appropriate fixings and construction materials.
• Operate carpentry tools and workshop machinery, including saws, bench press, mortiser, die grinder, air tools, sanders and other fabrication equipment.
• Ensure accuracy, quality workmanship and compliance with Australian Standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience in structural framing and fabrication.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
