About
We are building a fast, politically-savvy, and impact-focused organisation that brings together intelligence, communications, and campaigning to counteract regressive forces and secure a democratic path forward for climate action.
You’ll work across geographies, timelines, and platforms — overseeing message development, digital and media operations, creative content, and grassroots mobilisation. You will be responsible for launching and scaling national and cross-border campaigns.
- Lead the development of Civic Bridge’s campaign strategy across its priority countries.
- Design timelines, theories of change, audience strategies, and intervention plans around key electoral and political moments.
- Identify leverage points and drive priority setting within a fluid and reactive campaign environment.
- Oversee the rollout of campaign activities including message testing, content production, paid media, influencer engagement, and ecosystem partnerships.
- Direct in-country campaign teams, vendors, and creatives in executing effective campaigns that are politically sharp and culturally relevant.
- Ensure data, insights, and rapid feedback loops are integrated throughout campaign delivery.
- Lead on the development of resonant messages and creative narratives that connect climate politics to voters’ real lives and priorities.
- Integrate polling, ethnographic research, and digital testing into message development.
- Collaborate with political and communications teams to build cohesive messaging and media strategy.
- Manage members of Civic Bridge’s growing campaigns team
- Work across internal teams to align campaigns with political intelligence, opposition research, and movement strategy
- Serve as a representative of Civic Bridge campaign efforts where appropriate.
- Manage budgets, campaign metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
- At least 7 years of experience in political, advocacy, or electoral campaigning at the national or international level.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional campaigns from concept to execution.
- Strong understanding of political communications, polling, digital strategy, and media engagement.
- Experience managing distributed teams, agencies, consultants, and external partners.
- Creative and strategic thinker, comfortable with ambiguity and fast decision-making.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (German, Spanish, French, Italian) strongly preferred.
- Experience running campaigns in European electoral contexts.
- Background in movement-building, public narrative, or digital organising.
- Familiarity with A/B testing, voter targeting, and behavioural science approaches.
- Familiarity with legal frameworks that govern political campaign activity in a European electoral and communications context
- Be part of a remote-first, international network of professionals working on climate, energy and nature. We offer coworking access in some locations.
- Work with a bunch of dynamic, culturally diverse individuals who combine their passion to make a difference with a rigorous and results-oriented approach to work.
- Enjoy regular opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues around the world.
- A full-time position with an employment contract for 12 months, with a possible renewal after one year.
We may be able to provide co-working spaces in some locations. Only candidates with the right to work in their location will be considered.
