We are currently seeking a qualified, passionate, and experienced Full-Time Café Manager to join our team. If you thrive in a dynamic café environment and are committed to delivering exceptional food and customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

Purpose:

To oversee and manage all daily café operations, ensuring smooth service delivery, high food standards, and a welcoming customer experience from back-of-house to front-of-house.

Position: Cafe Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day café operations to ensure efficient service delivery and consistent customer satisfaction.
• Plan and organise seasonal promotions, specials, and in-house events to attract and retain customers.
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff on menu planning - including new dish development, cost control, and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and respond professionally to feedback or complaints.
• Implement and maintain rigorous food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards; oversee cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Create and manage staff rosters in line with business needs and labor budget targets.
• Handle staff recruitment, onboarding, training, supervision, and periodic performance review to maintain a competent and motivated team.
• Manage inventory and stock control: order supplies, negotiate with suppliers, and maintain accurate purchasing and payment records.
• Oversee cash-handling procedures, POS operations, banking, and daily reconciliations — ensuring accurate financial controls.
• Assist the Director in sales forecasting, budgeting, and reviewing financial performance to support business planning and growth.
• Manage reservations and customer bookings, ensuring efficient guest flow and high-quality service coordination.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.

Mandatory Requirements

• Relevant Qualification.
• At least 3 years of working experience is preferred.
• Customer service oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lead and manage the team.
• Passionate about good food, coffee culture, and delivering high standards of service.
• Creative and motivated, with initiative and a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, yet also function well in a team.
• Professional in appearance and attitude; reliable and committed.
• Enthusiastic, energetic, and driven to build a friendly, respectful workplace culture.

What we offer:

• Competitive salary: $70,000 – $80,000 + Super
