About the Business

We are seeking an experienced Cafe and Restaurant Manager to manage daily operations, lead staff, and ensure excellent service standards.

Key Role

-Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Cafe or restaurant to ensure smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
-Plan menus in consultation with chefs to maintain quality, variety, and compliance with nutritional and regulatory standards.
-Organise and manage special events and functions, ensuring all operational and customer service requirements are met.
-Manage procurement, pricing, and inventory of food, beverages, and other supplies within budgetary limits.
-Ensure dining areas and kitchen facilities meet health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
-Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a skilled, efficient, and motivated workforce.
-Engage with customers to handle enquiries, feedback, reservations, and complaints professionally, maintaining a positive guest experience.
-Analyse operational performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise service quality.

Qualifications & Experience

-AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
-Minimum of 1 year working in a commercial kitchen or food service environment.
-Solid knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations.
-Proven ability to lead teams, manage staff, and coordinate workflow effectively.
-Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with creativity and a genuine passion for culinary excellence
