About the Position:
The Cabinet Maker position at VIP Cabinets involves designing, manufacturing, and installing custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects. This full-time role requires a skilled professional to work closely with the team to deliver precise, high-quality solutions that meet client specifications and uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret design plans and specifications to create custom cabinets and joinery.
Manufacture and assemble cabinetry using advanced tools, including CNC equipment.
Perform on-site installations, ensuring precision and adherence to project timelines.
Collaborate with designers, architects, and clients to achieve desired outcomes.
Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to workplace safety standards.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and durability standards.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications: Minimum AQF Certificate III in Cabinet Making, Installing, Carpentry, or a related field.
Required Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience as a cabinet maker/installer or in a related field.
Proficiency in using cabinet-making tools and equipment, including CNC machinery.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and on-site installations.
