We currently have a position for a Butcher available.

Main Responsibilities
? Incoming goods management, liaison with suppliers and maintenance of stock levels/pricing
? Raw production processes, prepare, cut and trim meat portions with addition of pre-prepared spices and sauces as required
? Manage and maintain HACCP protocols for Food Safety
? Operation of equipment, sausage filling, pumping and meat smoking
? Assist the team in new product development and sample making

Skills
? Materials handling, managing incoming goods delivery and stock
? Time management
? Mathematical acumen for weighing and measuring

Experience, Including Number of Years
? Using a cooker, sausage filler, smoker, combi-oven, injector, mincer and bowl cutter
? Food industry 3yrs+
? Butcher or meat handling experience

Qualifications
? Certificate in Meat Processing
? Leadership/supervision qualifications
? Forklift High Risk Licence

ANNUAL SALARY: $76K - $86K
