Are you a highly organised professional with a knack for administration and a strong focus on customer service? We are looking for a Business Support Officer on behalf of our client located in the South of Adelaide.
About the Role
In this position, you will be providing essential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing expiation notices.
- Provide timely and accurate information to a wide range of customers and stakeholders in person, by phone, or in writing.
- Handling reviews and appeals from the public with professionalism and a clear, helpful approach.
- Managing all related administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, and record keeping.
- Liaising with the Fines Enforcement and Recovery Unit (FERU) for unpaid notices and other related matters.
- Providing exceptional customer service, addressing public inquiries about expiation notices and their rights in a clear and empathetic manner.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a similar administrative or business support role.
- Exceptional organisational skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
- A strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data integrity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management systems.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience in a local government or regulatory environment is a plus, but not essential.
