- Job Description Summary Highly strategic and influential, individual contributor role, leveraging cross-functional resources to drive the region’s most critical business priorities without the burden of operational management. Providing critical business expertise to strengthen GE Vernova and Electrification Systems’ profile and trusted relationships with key customers and stakeholders across Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Job Description Partner closely with Electrification Systems peers leading other business lines (Grid Systems Integration, Power Transmission, Power Conversion & Storage), the Chief Strategy & Technology Officer, and the segment CEO to establish the key strategy for ANZ. In collaboration with BL Commercial Leaders, define and lead the ANZ Country Plan (key customers and value propositions, strategic account plans, order intake and sales ambition, strategic priorities, ventures, offerings, and product qualifications). Establish strong C-suite relationships with existing and prospective customers on behalf of Electrification Systems in both countries. Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends, contributing to new business development both within core markets (Power Grid, Power-to-X) and adjacencies relevant to the ANZ region (e.g., Offshore Wind, Hydrogen, CCS, LNG, Nuclear, Defense where applicable). Own early-stage country setup and activation by steering upstream phases of key opportunities (from market scan to RFP issuance) across ANZ. Coordinate cross-BL integrated offers and in-country activities across the ANZ footprint. Oversee local legal entity alignment for ANZ, ensuring compliance with local regulations and overall ESY operational consistency. Support Business Lines’ OTR activities in case of project execution crises, acting as focal point for C-level stakeholders and BL P&L leaders. Measures of Success Financial performance (order intake) vs. Country Plan ambition for ANZ Incentive tied to success of multiple Business Lines in-region Market development progress, including expansion of market share in the ANZ region Relations – Management System 1. Regional Business Lines (GSI, GA, PT, PCS) Share ANZ market insights, pipeline visibility, and competitive intelligence Align country ambition with each BL’s growth strategy and priorities in ANZ Engage BLs to mobilize early-stage resources (sales, technical, legal) for opportunity shaping Coordinate integrated cross-BL offers Provide regular feedback on key account pipeline development and opportunity intake Join monthly NAM section of MCR and MOR for each Business Line 2. Global Business Line & ESY Staff Conduct bi-annual reviews of the ANZ strategic plan via the Country Steering Committee Embed relevant commercial or operational topics into existing operating mechanisms (MOR, MCR, etc.) 3. Chief Strategy & Technology Office Align on Global Account Manager / Strategic Account Executive activities for key ESY and GEV accounts in ANZ Participate in MSTR (Monthly Strategy & Technology Reviews) covering technology, commercial, and strategy topics 4. GE Vernova Country Council Represent Electrification Systems on the GEV ANZ country councils Maintain regular alignment with GEV peers across the ANZ region for strategic customers and initiatives Essential Leadership Behaviors Act as a local integrator and strategic ambassador in ANZ Promote governance, discipline and transparency Shape and communicate a compelling country ambition Build trust and constructive collaboration across stakeholders Ensure personal integrity and compliance in all interactions Uphold high standards in ethics, EHS, sustainability, and human rights Key Profile Requirements Proven business track record in ANZ, with upstream business shaping experience (order intake, funnel management, key account management) Background in electrification, power conversion, or grid technologies. Strong familiarity with local utility ecosystem Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial self-starter Technically conversant; able to articulate engineering-based value propositions. Ability to collaborate across regional boundaries Strong influencing skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders (customers, public authorities, regulatory entities) across ANZ Experience in industrial or project-based business environments with comfort discussing technical topics Demonstrated capability to drive cross-BL and cross-functional collaboration Strong structured mindset with ability to build and execute regional strategic plans Previous P&L or entity leadership advantageous.
