An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a motivated Business Analyst. This role provides vital support to the business by delivering key projects related to Gateway’s banking and ancillary systems. This role also requires interacting with 3rd parties, ensuring the access availability to our Core Systems.
About the Role
Working within our Business Technology Services team, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Technology Services some of your responsibilities would include:
• Translating all business requirements into detailed functional/technical requirements.
• Creation and maintenance of Change Request/UAT related documentation.
• Creating business cases to assist with the implementation of new or improved systems, business processes and new supplier arrangements.
• Consulting with relevant stakeholders to assist with the implementation of projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, your experience and qualifications would be as follow
• Experience managing key business processes and relationships, both internal and external.
• Degree qualification and a minimum 3 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry.
• 3 plus years of experience in User Acceptance Test planning, implementation, and documentation.
• Minimum 12 months of experience in commercial and residential lending processes from loan origination to settlement.
• Minimum 12 months experience in working third party service providers including but not limited to GBG, Equifax, CoreLogic or similar vendors.
• Minimum 12 months experience working with service providers such as NextGen, Cloudcase, illion and/or demonstrate solid understanding of loan origination platforms.
• Must have previous experience in API integration.
• Must have previous experience in implementing broker management, loan origination and customer onboarding systems.
• Must have a good understanding of ETL processing and/or prior experience in ETL projects.
• Must have previous experience in implementing reporting dashboards with a strong technical skillset encompassing of PowerBI or Tableau.
• A good understanding of OpenBanking services.
• Hands on experience with Postman, Javascript and SQL.
• Competent with agile methodology and scrum technique.
• Sprint and backlog management using Jira, ServiceNow.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of UX/UI design.
• Experience with AI and data analytics would be beneficial.

You would be working in our stylish office in the Sydney CBD, which is located close to transport and the QVB shopping district. Following a long period of remote working, we have begun transitioning back to in-office operations, with the option of working from home one or two days per week.
What is the recruitment process?
