The Role: Our Project & Development Services (PDS) business line has a key role in managing the National Program Service (NPS) Package for the Defence Estate Works Program (EWP). The Business Analyst role will support the business transformation by proactively using data in all aspects of our decision making. The role will also serve as a key resource in facilitating data exchange between external contractors, JLL and Clients by leveraging JLL’s data infrastructure, working with both Project data and Workflow data to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the integration process. Benefits: 18 weeks paid parental leave for Primary Carer after 6 months of service Private Health Insurance Discounts Gym & Wellbeing Discounts Employee assistance program Health & Beauty Discounts Novated Lease for EV Cars Duties include but not limited to Project Data Management Download and consolidating data files from client systems Data validation, analysis and error handling Data aggregation, extraction and uploading Workflow Administration Administer data validation, compliance and accuracy checks Cross-reference structured data with unstructured documents Provide training and ongoing support to external contractors associated with validation issues Monitor error handling mechanisms and address data quality issues Continuous Improvement (Defence) Prepare Lessons Learned documentation for data providers Conduct improvement workshops with external contractors Provide onboarding support for digital platforms Monitor and improve data validation processes Change Management Support Contribute to the successful adoption of new solutions by supporting change management activities, including training material development and user support Data Analysis Support the design and implementation of digital solutions that meet the needs of the organisation and its customers, focusing on data-driven insights Extract, analyse, and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions and solution design. Requirements Definition and Management Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the internal and external stakeholders, technology teams, and operations, to identify, analyse, and document business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional specifications Business Analysis Analyse and document current state business processes, data flows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digital solution implementation Stakeholder Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle Consultancy Provide consultancy-like services to internal teams, helping them understand the value and application of business intelligence, process improvements, and digital solutions Innovation and Continuous Improvement Stay current with industry trends in business analysis, data analytics, low-code platforms, and digital solutions, providing recommendations for improvements What you will bring: Baseline Clearance or the ability to obtain this (ie: Australian Citizenship) is mandatory for this position A degree in Business, Data Analytics, Construction, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Experience in implementing/maintaining digital solutions including experience with business intelligence and process optimisation Experience working in a consultancy role, providing advice and guidance to customers Proficient in the use of Excel for data wrangling The ability to analyse and visualise data using MS Power BI (preferred) The ability to develop simple data models (preferred) using MS Power BI (preferred) What to expect from us: As an organisation, we don’t just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
