Role Detail Our Global Business Acceptance Team (GBAT) GBAT is growing as our AML/CTF and Financial Crime program expands, and as we embark on a Strategic Program to optimise the firm’s governance, global business acceptance and engagement risk & compliance policies, processes, systems and controls (governance framework). Flexibility to be based in the Sydney or Brisbane CBD office, with a balanced approach to WFH, this role focuses on providing junior analytical assistance to the Global Business Acceptance Team (GBAT), as well as providing administrative support to the GBAT team as required. Reporting to a senior manager, and working closely with all members of GBAT, this role requires confidentiality, strong analytical, administrative, organisational, project management and communication skills and the ability to build rapport at all levels. It also requires the ability to organise and analyse data and information in various databases and formats. Key responsibilities will include: Entering and maintaining data and information in the firm’s global systems and databases Running reports Assisting with administration of and compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and processes (across Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe/Middle East, and soon to include Australia) Preparing agenda and minutes of meetings Content management and publication of intranet pages Ad hoc administration and project support to the GBAT leadership team AMEX reconciliation First point of contact for general queries Managing leave and travel for the team Scheduling meetings and events About You At the core, this is an entry role to the team, that offers the opportunity to stretch and will give you rare exposure to the belly of the firm through process and systems. This position could suit an early career professional with an analytical mind, with an organised and meticulous approach who enjoys adding value through team support.
