As a Building Supervisor at Royal Pool, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end pool construction processes, ensuring structural integration with residential builds, coordinating specialised trades, and maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Coordinating and supervising end-to-end swimming pool construction activities, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, engineering specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Planning and scheduling site activities, including excavation sequencing, allocation of subcontractors, and coordination of materials and equipment deliveries to maintain construction timelines.
• Supervising on-site excavation works to ensure correct depths, soil preparation, and structural readiness for reinforced concrete pool installation.
• Overseeing structural steel reinforcement placement and ensuring compliance with structural engineering design requirements and Australian Standards.
• Ensuring structural integration between pool construction and surrounding building elements to maintain overall building integrity and engineering compliance.
• Coordinating subcontractors including concreters, steel fixers, plumbers, waterproofing specialists, and finishing trades across multiple active construction sites.
• Monitoring coping, surrounds, interior lining, and waterproofing stages to ensure aesthetic quality, long-term performance, and compliance with project specifications.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with NSW building regulations, relevant Australian Standards, and workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements.
• Liaising with builders, architects, engineers, and project managers to communicate progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure coordinated project delivery.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed site reports, progress documentation, compliance records, and defect management registers to support quality assurance and regulatory obligations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Relevant qualification.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Building Supervisor
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction and structural pool integration within residential projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, hydraulic schematics, and structural documentation.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of WHS and Australian building compliance requirements.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $100,000 – $115,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
