About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to support our Team Leaders in the delivery of civil infrastructure projects. This is more than a hands-on role; you will be a key driver of site safety, crew productivity, and technical accuracy.

• Acting as 2IC for the Team Leader, directing crew activities, and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Interpreting site plans and drawings for the installation of electrical conduits, pits & footings.
• Supervising and assisting in the removal/replacement of communication pits containing bonded asbestos around live electrical and fibre optic cables.
• Performing concreting, formwork, and remediation upgrades to existing network assets.
• Assisting with the removal or replacement of street lights, traffic signal and communication pits containing bonded asbestos around electrical and fibre optic cables.
• Enforcing strict adherence to WHS practices and Council compliance standards.

What You’ll Need to Excel:

• Pit & Pipe experience.
• Demonstrate leadership skills.
• Asbestos Removal Ticket.
• MR License highly advantageous.
• White Card.
• Civil construction experience.
