My work blends equine veterinary expertise, positive reinforcement training, and science-based liberty horsemanship. The business is steadily growing and I am now looking for a reliable, detail-oriented bookkeeper to help me stay on top of my finances. What I Need Help With - Ongoing bookkeeping using Xero - Weekly or fortnightly reconciliation - Catch-up bookkeeping for the past 2–3 months - Invoicing clients - Preparing reports and summaries for my accountant (they handle BAS and tax lodgement) - Ensuring Australian bookkeeping compliance (GST, categorisation, receipts, etc.) - Occasional Zoom check-ins to review the books and workflow - **Bonus skill: Keeping track of and flagging any foreign income/tax requirements (I use Kajabi which has recently partnered with Quaderno) Who I’m Looking For - Proven experience with Xero and Australian bookkeeping - Strong understanding of GST, BAS, and ATO-compliant recordkeeping - Fluent in English and confident communicating via Zoom and email - Detail-focused and proactive: someone who spots discrepancies and solves them - Comfortable working with online businesses with international customers - Bonus: Familiarity with international tax considerations (e.g., foreign income, online sales) Why Work With Me?
