The Role
As a Casual Cleaner with Higher Standards, you will work across a variety of cleaning jobs, including end-of-lease cleans, general residential cleans, and commercial sites. The role involves physical work and requires a strong eye for detail. You will often work independently but may also be placed in small teams for larger jobs.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a range of cleaning tasks including:
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Cleaning kitchens, including benches, cupboards, sinks, and appliances
• Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, showers, and tiles
• Window, wall, and skirting board cleaning as required

Follow company standards to ensure all work is completed to a professional level

Use cleaning products safely and in line with instructions

Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members

Represent Higher Standards in a professional and respectful manner at all times

Working Hours
This is a casual role with flexible hours. Shifts are generally available Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work depending on demand. Start and finish times may vary according to job locations and client needs. Hours are not guaranteed but there are regular opportunities for those who prove reliable and consistent.

Requirements

No prior cleaning experience is required; full training will be provided

Strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential

Ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks to a high standard

Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team

Own transport is a must due to varying job locations

Physical ability to undertake cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and repetitive movements

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia

Police check or willingness to obtain one may be required
