Boiler Makers

Our successful, Company is currently searching for your talents. We are looking to employ a valued member of staff for the long term. We are situated in Clontarf, Queensland and are a manufacturer of Domestic and Commercial Joinery Cabinet Making, Shop fitting, Stone Fabrication, Steel Fabrication and Painted Specialty Timber Joinery.

Responsibility

Perform layout, cutting, forming, fitting and welding of structural steel, plate, pipe and other metal components according to specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, sketches and work orders to determine project requirements
Operate specialized equipment and tools such as cutting torches, grinders, welding machines and hydraulic presses
Ensure all work is completed to strict quality and safety standards
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes
Collaborate with the wider team to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
Skill and Experience

Formal trade qualification in Boiler Making or Fabrication
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Boiler Maker / Fabricator, ideally in a manufacturing or workshop environment
Proficient in operating a range of welding equipment and techniques including MIG, TIG and Stick welding
Strong knowledge of metal properties, fabrication methods and quality control processes
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work orders
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $96,500.00 – $100,000.00 per year
