We are looking for a Boilermaker to join the team! In this role, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of CST’s precision weighing scales. You will work with both mild steel and stainless steel, producing high-quality components and assemblies that meet our strict standards for accuracy, durability, and performance. Working closely with the Factory Manager and Engineering teams, you’ll ensure products are fabricated to design specifications, delivered on time, and manufactured to the highest standards. This is a full-time ongoing position, working 40 hours per week based in Revesby, NSW.

Main tasks:

- Fabricate and assemble precision weighing equipment using both mild steel and stainless steel.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and general assembly drawings.
- Operate welding, cutting, and general fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Ensure high standards of accuracy, finish, and quality in all work produced.
- Work collaboratively with the Factory Manager, Engineers, and other trades to deliver projects on time.
- Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to CST’s workplace health and safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of fabrication methods and processes.

Required/Relevant Qualifications & Work Experience:

- Minimum of a relevant Certificate III qualification plus minimum 1 year’ relevant work experience.

Required/Relevant Skills & Knowledge:

- Proficiency in welding mild steel and stainless steel (MIG, TIG, and stick welding).
- Ability to read and work from detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
- Strong understanding of fabrication processes and safe workshop practices.
- Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Quality and accuracy of fabricated components and assemblies.
- Meeting agreed project deadlines and production targets.
- Compliance with workplace safety standards and procedures.

Annual salary will be between $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 (plus superannuation) depending on level of experience.
