About the Venue

• The lush rooftop terrace Wentworth Bar, on level 5 of the Sofitel Wentworth, has become one of Sydney’s most spectacular al fresco drinking destinations. This sprawling space, which also offers a glass and copper cover to protect from inclement weather, accommodates up to 400 guests and is the place to be in the CBD, whether for after work drinks, events, or afternoon cocktails.
• With a nightly closing time of 10pm (due to hotel licensing), not only is this one of the most spectacular venues to work at in Sydney, you can also say goodbye to those 2am finishes!

About the Job

• As we grow and continue to establish ourselves as one of Sydney's premier drinking destinations, we are on the lookout for experienced and passionate bartenders to join the team and help push us forward.
• If you’re passionate about creating exceptional drinks, whether it’s mixing unique cocktails or executing the classics perfectly, we’d love to hear from you!
• We’re looking for energetic individuals who love engaging with guests and bringing their beverage expertise to life. You will be working with some of the industries best and have opportunities for ongoing training and growth.
• Qualifications

About You

• Extensive hands-on experience in cocktail preparation, bar operations, and guest service in high-volume or upscale venues.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic and contemporary cocktails.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Proficiency in bar systems and procedures, including stock control, POS systems, RSA compliance, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with attention to detail, professionalism, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
