On behalf of our client, Mangrove Hotel, we are advertising. They are currently looking for a Bar Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis in Broome, WA.

The Bar Supervisor plays a key leadership role in the Food & Beverage Department, overseeing bar operations while supporting the wider team in delivering exceptional service. This role combines hands-on bartending with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high service standards, and fostering a positive team culture. The Bar Supervisor will also assist with training, stock control, compliance with licensing and safety regulations, and contribute to the department’s goals in alignment with the company’s vision.

Tasks & Duties:
• Oversee bar operations during service, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to standards.
• Maintain a high level of personal presentation and ensure staff presentation aligns with company policy.
• Liaise with chefs, event teams, HR, and duty managers to ensure effective operations.
• Supervise, train, coach, and support staff to meet performance expectations.
• Oversee staff breaks while maintaining wage cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, RSA requirements, and health & safety policies.
• Manage stock control, ordering, inventory checks, and minimize wastage.
• Handle customer queries and conflict resolution professionally.
• Ensure timely and efficient ordering and delivery of products without compromising quality.
• Ensure venue opening and closing procedures follow company policy.
• Support rostering, shift planning, and operational reporting.

Skills & Experience Required:
• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role.
• Strong bartending skills with knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate others.
• High attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• POS system and cash handling experience preferred.

Salary from $79,000 + superannuation per annum.
