From morning croissants to charcoal-roasted chicken, fresh salads, and thoughtful pantry staples, Idle invites you to slow down, savour honest flavours, and feel at ease, Anyday.

The Role

Idle has an exciting opportunity for a professional, energetic Baker to join our team of talented chefs and bakers. We are looking for Bakers who have a passion for the hospitality industry and delivering a high-level of product and service.

The Responsibilities

Preparing, mixing, and baking breads, pastries, and other baked products.
Monitoring ovens, adjusting temperatures, and ensuring product consistency.
Following recipes and production schedules to meet daily demand.
Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Cleaning and maintaining baking equipment and the production area.
Working collaboratively within the team to achieve production targets.

Skills and Experience Required:

Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification; OR at least 3 years’ relevant full-time work experience.
Demonstrated commercial baking experience.
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
