The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development, particularly in building scalable applications using Django frameworks. Core Requirements Backend: Advanced Django 5+, DRF, Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL AI/ML: Expert LangChain, OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude, Hugging Face Architecture: Service layer patterns, dependency injection, event-driven design Performance: Database optimization, caching strategies, async processing Infrastructure: Docker, database migrations, API versioning Key Responsibilities Design and implement LLM integration architecture Build robust API endpoints and Websockets with proper serialization and validation Implement background processing for AI tasks using Celery Optimize database queries and implement effective caching Create prompt template management and versioning systems Ensure security and rate limiting for LLM endpoints Technical Must-Haves 4+ years Django with advanced ORM usage and query optimization 2+ years hands-on LangChain experience with multiple LLM providers Strong understanding of async/await patterns for I/O operations Experience with API rate limiting, quota management, and retry mechanisms Knowledge of Python type hints, testing (pytest), and code quality tools Understanding of LLM cost optimization and response streaming Preferred Qualifications Experience with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search Familiarity with ML model serving and deployment Experience with monitoring LLM performance and costs Understanding of AI safety and content filtering Knowledge of GDPR compliance for AI applications
