Description: We're looking for a motivated sales freelancer to help us sell sponsored article placements to manufacturers — primarily factories in China who sell on Alibaba, attend trade shows like Canton Fair, and want more exposure to Western buyers. About Us: ShelfTrend is a product research newsletter read by 15,000+ online sellers (Amazon, eBay, Walmart) in the US, UK, and EU. We publish articles that help sellers discover and decide what products to source. We're now offering manufacturers the opportunity to be featured in these articles as verified suppliers. What You'll Be Selling: Sponsored article featuring the manufacturer's company "Request Quote" button that sends buyer leads directly to them Permanent placement + newsletter distribution Your Responsibilities: - Find manufacturer contacts (Alibaba, Made-in-China, GlobalSources, trade show exhibitor lists) - Send cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, and WeChat - Handle objections and qualify leads - Close deals and collect company information - Hand off for invoicing and fulfilment You're a Great Fit If You: - Have B2B sales experience, ideally selling to manufacturers or trading companies - Understand the China export/trade ecosystem (Alibaba, Canton Fair, sourcing agents) - Can write professional outreach in English AND Mandarin Chinese - Are comfortable with cold outreach and follow-up - Are self-motivated and can work independently - Have access to WeChat (important for reaching Chinese contacts) To Apply: Please include: Brief description of your B2B sales experience (especially if you've sold to or worked with Chinese manufacturers) Your experience with cold outreach (email, LinkedIn, WeChat) Whether you speak/write Mandarin Your timezone and availability (hours per week) A short sample of how you'd pitch this product to a factory owner (2-3 sentences is fine) We'll provide: Outreach templates and scripts Landing page and example articles Training on the product and common objections Ongoing support Looking forward to hearing from you!
