They specialise in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing all makes and models of vehicles, ensuring every vehicle is safe, efficient, and roadworthy.

The company is looking to hire a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to become part of their energetic team. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and carrying out routine vehicle maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

The annual salary for this position is $76,600 to $78,000.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and vehicle systems through visual checks and the use of diagnostic equipment.

• Dismantle engine parts, transmissions, steering systems, and other components for inspection and maintenance purposes.

• Replace and repair faulty or worn-out parts, reassembling components with the help of service manuals and technical instructions as needed.

• Perform scheduled servicing tasks like changing oil and filters, lubricating moving parts, and tuning engines to enhance performance and comply with environmental regulations.

• Reassemble engines and related systems after repairs, ensuring all components are properly installed and securely fastened.

• Test and adjust mechanical systems post-repair to verify their efficiency, performance, and reliability.

• Use diagnostic tools and software to evaluate the condition and operation of vehicle systems.

• Check vehicles for compliance with road safety standards, and if authorised, issue inspection reports or provide repair recommendations.

• Respond to roadside breakdowns, delivering minor on-site repairs and assistance where possible.

• Keep detailed service records and maintenance logs to ensure all work is tracked according to workshop protocols.

Qualifications:

• Must possess more than three (3) years of relevant experience.

• Should hold at least a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
